Throughout pregnancy, your risk of developing oral disease is increase. Pregnancy gingivitis - a state which goes further and started bleeding of tender gums and also goes up to oral infection. Generally pregnant mother may suffer from this oral illness and this can be harmful for development of baby's health.
Pregnancy Gingivitis - This is the well know dental illness which badly affecting the pregnant women. As per the current studies and research, 60% or more pregnant mothers are affected with this pregnancy gingivitis illness. The main cause behind this oral disease is the growth of bacteria, germs and plaque in between the teeth. If you have pregnancy gingivitis problem, you will notice that your gums are swollen and its color turns to reddish. Your gums may also ebb as you feel that your teeth are becoming wobbly.

- Brush your teeth methodically but gently. Always use a fluoride toothpaste and soft-bristled toothbrush. You also need to do dental floss on a regular basis.
- Frequent vomiting may promote the accumulation of bacteria in your teeth. To protect yourself from the adverse dental effects of morning sickness, it will be best if you gargle with warm water or an antibacterial mouthwash every time you vomit. You can also use baking soda as your tooth paste. However, make sure that you first consult with your physician.
- Make it a point to visit your dentist frequently especially during the second trimester of your pregnancy. Have him conduct a comprehensive dental exam as well as a thorough dental cleaning process.
- To promote dental health during pregnancy, you need to eat a very healthy diet; you must include lots of vegetables, fruits and other foods that are rich in calcium, B12 and vitamin C in your regular diet.
- If you experience tooth ache or some signs and symptoms of pregnancy gingivitis such as the development of pus or bleeding of the gums, you should check with your dentist right away. These can be signs of a dental infection that can possibly spread throughout your body. This can also increase risks for pregnancy complications especially during labor. Never take any kind of medications without consulting your dental expert and your general physician.

Its normal and I would agree that throughout pregnancy, the risk of developing oral disease is increase. Should know about tubal reversal surgery, a woman may have pregnancy again after getting tubal reversal surgery.
I dont see nothing wrong if you go to the dentist when you are pregnant only if the doctor will use anaesthesia in that case i change my mind .
